ExperienceI am an experienced tutor who enjoys using fun techniques like challenges and games to help a student learn. I am a tutor who becomes invested in how much students accomplish their goals. Some of my tutoring experience includes being able to teach a student about applications of subjects they are learning, not just memorizing a simple theory. Students will remember more if they understand how something works and can put a practical example in place. I have a special ability to work with students who are a little more reserved both academically and socially. I enjoy new challenges and I love to help a student reach their goals. I have experience working with students in algebra 1-4, calculus 1-2, geometry, chemistry, physics, mechanical engineering, science, and test prep. I also have experience in a variety of IB classes which includes mathematics and physics.Presently I am attending Columbia University for my graduate degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in advanced robotics and design for manufacturing. I have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering as well. I also had experience in an international baccalaureate program where I was an instructor for high school and college students in physics and math. Additionally, I also have some leadership experience which includes positions held in my fraternal organization, including vice president. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, football and weightlifting. I also enjoy photography and reading old novels.
