I teach my students how to hedge between a bear and bull stock market.My students investment accounts have held up well doing the crashes of 1987, 2000/2001 and 2008. Doing the peak of the financial crisis when everyone was in a state of panic, they were buying with profits from their bear market investments. I also teach them how to keep fees low by teaching them how to use discount brokers and how to take advantage of tax laws to keep taxes down on their profits.
